Electronic Posting Pilot Now Open

The Electronic Posting trial is now available for landowners and/or tenants to post their property for the 2020-2021 hunting seasons. The deadline for sign up is July 15th . This trial is only being run in Richland, Ramsey, and Slope counties.

If you are a landowner or controlling tenant that normally posts your land or if you are in contact with someone in counties that post, please consider advocating for the program! Here is the link to get started.

The process is simple. Anyone who buys licenses online can start by logging in. Scroll down to the bottom of your account page and you will see the "Land Parcels" tab. Landowners or tenants who apply for gratis tags will already have much of the necessary information in the system. Landowners or tenants that do not already have a NDGF account profile will have to create one. It is basic contact information. They will then need to input land, which can be done by parcel ID number or legal description.

A considerable amount of time and effort went into creating this application. To effectively evaluate the Pilot, we need landowners in these three counties who normally post their land to participate. The goal is to reduce the cost, time, and burden of landowners, while creating a database for hunters, anglers, and other outdoor recreationists to plan and better connect with landowners.

Please encourage the landowners/tenants that you know are operating in Richland, Ramsey, or Slope counties, who normally post their land, and ask them to participate in the Electronic Posting Trial.

If you have questions or concerns about the pilot, please contact the representatives on the Natural Resources Interim Committee. For general questions or to inquire about metal “Ask Before You Enter” signs, contact John Bradley at jbradley.ndwf@gmail.com or visit northdakotawildlife.org
